About Us

 

My name is Thea Ward and I am very excited to be a part of the team of incredible trainers at Gold’s Gym Bismarck. Two things those who know me would say about me are: I am a very proud auntie to the most handsome 1 year old boy Brantley Scott and second - I love being a personal trainer. I grew up in Minot, North Dakota dancing for the Minot High School Varsity Dance team as well as the Minot State University Dance team. For years I never had to worry about being fit as it was a part of my life. After I was done dancing for MSU I put on a little over 120 pounds. After a medical scare I decided it was time to change my life. I lost 100 pounds and have maintained that for 4 years. I am a proud member of the North Dakota Army National Guard and have had the privilege of assisting in leading PT programs for the Colorado Army National Guard RSP program alongside Army Master Fitness Trainer SGT Ken Weichert.
I know first-hand the struggles of implementing a successful lifestyle change. No matter your goals I will be alongside you until you reach them. Experience: Being in shape was not difficult for me when I was younger as I danced competitively in both high school and college. I put on 120 pounds following dance and my quality of life diminished. After losing 100 pounds and maintaining that for 4 years I realized I could use my experience to help others improve their quality of life. I have been training ever since. I managed two Snap Fitness Locations while training out of both. I decided I wanted to focus primarily on training and have been with Gold's ever since.

Areas of Focus: I strive to be a well rounded trainer, focusing on all aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Whether your goal is to lose weight, be stronger, or simply be a happier – healther you; I am here to help.
